**Pro Tip: A knob rotates on itself because it is held by a single screw acting somewhat like a pivot. This goes unnoticed when the knob is round and smooth. However, for a square or elongated knob, it will be immediately noticeable if it's not straight.
Solution: A small drop of silicone or other adhesive placed behind the base of the knob before screwing it in will correct the problem.
